FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council®, which is an independent, international member organisation working to achieve environmentally sound, socially responsible and economically robust use of the world’s forests through its FSC certification system. In order for a company to be able to call itself FSC®-certified, it must have 100% control of its supply chains and its stocks. Regular audits are conducted by an external party.
